Box.net is giving away 50GB of storage to iOS users

There are a number of cloud storage services which work on iOS devices such as Dropbox and SugarSync.  Box.net, however, has really set a new bar for free storage by offering  50GB of free storage just for signing up for their service using your iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iTouch). This is far more than what any service has offered up until now and the storage is yours to keep forever. To enjoy the promotion, you will need to sign up by December 2.

Box has a number of really great features which make it a great choice for backing up your files to the cloud, including:

  • Access to all your content anywhere and from any device
  • Arrange files into folders  to keep them organized
  • Send a link to let others see the file or folder
  • Turn folders into online workspaces where anyone you invite can view, edit and upload files.
  • Receive updates when others add, edit or comment on shared files.
  • Save files to your device for offline access.
  • Project files including AirPlay support.
  • Integration with other apps like Documents to Go and GoodReader so you can edit files on the go.
