What do you do when the cloud network goes down?

I am quickly losing my patience with Google's Blogger since I rely on it to run my site and it has been down or acting strange for a few days now. I was not able to post anything for over a day and now get this error message every time I try to edit my posts.

This has got me wondering what would happen if you relied on cloud computing and it isn't working. Google's new Chrome OS is completely cloud based, meaning that if their network is down, you basically can't do anything. It is one thing to use a cloud based service to back up data or to stream media and to have it go down. It is quite another to have it as your computer's operating system and to have it fail.

Google has yet to explain what is going on. If they want to convince people to do all their computer in the cloud, they are going to need to do better than this.
